m-work, the first platform for the organization of flexible work, raises €1M from leading investors

Table des matières

Press release, Paris, December 15, 2022

m-work is the first flexible work planning platform in Europe. m-work supports the transformation of business working methods with simple and affordable software, which combines team planning and presence visualization, integrated with business tools, as well as data to manage teleworking issues, flex office, etc.

Nearly a year after its creation, m-work, recently named in Station F's Future40 ranking, raised an initial €1 million in funding from leading investors, including Third Kind (Notion, Bubble.io) and SV Angels (Airbnb, Square, Slack), as well as Business Angels (Airbnb, Square, Slack), as well as Business Angels such as Philippe Gelis (Kantox), and Stéphane Maarek (Conduktor) and Christophe Amouroux (Twelve Consulting).

Thanks to this new step taken, m-work, which already counts Crédit Agricole d'Île-de-France, the Vyv Group, and Cegid among its customers, will strengthen its technical team to offer tailor-made software to each organization. It will allow them, in addition to teleworking and flex-office, to easily manage the 4-day week, for example, and will further deepen the integration into HRIS and collaborative tools.

Supporting companies in the face of the hybridization of work

The observation is clear: the hybridization of work and remote work create unprecedented challenges for the daily life of companies. All must adapt their organization, culture and offices to the new requirements of talent, in a world where employees spend 65% less time in the office than before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Due to a lack of time, solutions, and adapted tools, managers are struggling to make the transition to a more flexible organization. The tools in place - HRIS, Excel, room reservations - are expensive, complex and illegible.

To meet these challenges, m-work, a start-up founded by Joséphine de Leusse, Edouard Bouyala and Barthélémy de Mazenod, has developed a complete and integrated solution that allows:

  • To administer its structure, by integrating corporate and team rules - number of teleworking days, space capacity, rituals.
  • To plan individual and collective organization to know who comes when in which office, and to increase collaboration.
  • To manage its offices and HR policies using data on space occupancy, carbon impact, and employee usage.

Democratising flexible work and making it a strength for businesses

Through its simplicity, performance and efficiency, the solution has already convinced thousands of users within big names such as Cegid, Crédit Agricole Île-de-France or the Vyv Group, and aims to democratize work flexibility in the years to come.

The three founders, who all experienced the difficulties associated with hybrid work before launching m-work, aim to equip poor companies in this new work organization to make it simple, sustainable and profitable for them. By offering an offer integrated into their existing tools, easy to deploy and use, m-work allows employees to fully seize the opportunities offered to them.

“We are proud to announce this first fundraiser, which will allow us to strengthen our team and achieve our vision: to become the reference tool for the organization of flexible work, and make it accessible to all companies” declares Joséphine de Leusse, CEO and co-founder of m-work.

The ambition for the coming years is clear: to expand the flexible work management offer, by equipping companies in the profound transformations in progress, and by supporting them internationally, in a world where borders are increasingly erased by the hybridization of work.
