Flex office management and shared resources in a hybrid work context
Adapei Loire Atlantique is an association under the 1901 law in the field of mental disability, which supports people in 70 establishments and services in the department. Active since 1955, Adapei Loire-Atlantique campaigns for the adapted support of people with intellectual disabilities, autism, multiple disabilities, and psychological disabilities and for the support of their families and loved ones.
With around 2,000 employees and a headquarters in Nantes, the association recently moved to renovated premises in the city center.
However, with only 43 seats for 60 employees on its headquarters team, the association needed a flex office tool to manage the occupancy of its premises. This move was also an opportunity to move from individual offices to shared spaces, organized into open spaces for 4 to 6 people.
Adapei's IT teams have therefore launched a consultation in order to find the tool most suited to their needs, while remaining light and easy for employees to use.
Adapei Loire Atlantique turned to m-work for several reasons, in particular the functional scope that perfectly matched the expectations of the association, with the possibility of managing flex office, sharing offices, but also of resources - bikes or shared vehicles, etc.
In addition, the simplicity of the tool allowed everyone to learn the software quickly, and the Microsoft integration contributed to making m-work easier to use.
Compared to the other solutions studied, the ease of use of m-work made the difference. Adapei was also seduced by m-work's CSR functionalities - calculating the carbon footprint in particular - which echo the association's social impact mission.
The deployment could be effective in a few days, with a very simple tool. The SSO connection made it possible to immediately secure the deployment and to make life easier for users.
Since the summer of 2023, the association's teams have therefore been able to organize their hybrid work and manage the flex office calmly with m-work.
