Blurring

The Blurring is defined as the difficulty in clearly establishing the boundaries between professional and private life, especially when working remotely. This confusion of spheres can lead to increased stress and fatigue for workers, as well as a decrease in productivity.

To avoid the Blurring, it is important to put in place clear rules to delimit working hours, the use of professional communication tools outside of working hours, and the availability of the worker outside of these hours. It is also recommended to set up dedicated workspaces in the worker's home when possible, and to physically separate the workspace from the living space.

Managers and teams in charge of human resources should pay particular attention to this, in order to avoid an increase in mental load and the risk of burnout.
