Great pride for our m-workers team! Joséphine de Leusse, co-founder of m-work, is one of the winners of the Prix du Cercle des Femmes du Grand Paris, 2021 edition. A look back at the award ceremony that took place this Friday, September 10...
Committed actors
It is at the initiative of 2 organizations that this award was created. The first actor is the Cercle des Femmes du Grand Paris.
Since 2016, they have promised to mobilize for the success and attractiveness of Grand Paris by “giving a feminine face to these ambitions”.
Who are they? On an idea of Chiara Corazza, managing director (Paris - Ile de France Capitale Economique), today around forty executive women from all sectors make up this circle.
Helping ourselves to move forward and to be more visible in the media is also the objective of the second actor in this event. The other face of the award is WILLA, the women's incubator which aims to accelerate gender diversity in tech. This community also wants to support female entrepreneurship.
A reward that makes sense
The Prix du Cercle des Femmes du Grand Paris was born from a simple idea: encourage female entrepreneurship in the region. The objective is to reward, highlight and support 4 female entrepreneurs from Ile de France. This is how all the organizers provided tailor-made support to all the selected winners on their impact project. Enough to encourage all women who are afraid to start an entrepreneur!
Highly motivated laureates
This initiative made it possible tosupport and reward 4 laureates including our founder. The other projects?
In the “Habitat and Environment” category for her Geominnov project, which aims to improve the environmental performance of buildings, Fanny Fanou was rewarded by Sophie Iborra, Director of Institutional Relations at La Tribune.
She was followed by Annabelle Grousset, founder of “APA de Géant”, in the “Food and Health” category, which makes it possible to reduce inequalities in access to the practice of sports activities.
Also alongside our founder, the entrepreneur Fanta Marena, who created “Lil Box”, was rewarded in the “Work and well-being” category for her literary box for children in order to support them in their learning to read.
Finally, Joséphine de Leusse, our founder, was rewarded in the “Mobility and Development” category for m-work and its innovative solutions.
A memorable event
In honor of all the winners, the award ceremony was held this Friday, September 10, in Epinay sur Seine. The organizers were thus able to pull out all the stops, all with the invaluable help of the company “À Table”, the co-creator of gourmet events.
Marianne Louradourd, Regional Director of La Banque des Territories, opened the festivities, followed by the other sponsors of the event.
Among these sponsors and speakers, Nadia Hai, Deputy Minister in charge of the City, Mayor of Aubervilliers and Vice President of Plaine Commune, as well as the Mayor of Epinay sur Seine, Hervé Chevreau. So many inspiring paths that could inspire future entrepreneurs!
As m-workers we are very proud of this award for our founder and our impact work. Do you want to know more about our solutions? It is Over here.
